Almost 2 weeks ago we got back from the 18th edition of the Software Industry Conference held this year in Boston, Massachusetts. I know it’s taken me a while to write this, but I can explain. It’s called jet lag plus hundreds of e-mails.
It was a busy and successful participation for us: 3 presentations, 1 hospitality suite where we met with the participants (some of them our clients and partners), exhibit night, nice parties, and networking with beer, chocolate and sea food (OK, I’ll admit it, this was my favorite).
I really enjoyed presenting, thanks to Paris Karahalios for inviting us on the (you can download the presentations): Social Networking Media panel (I got a lot of friends on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, so I think the presentation reached its goal), as well as the Effective Advertising & Marketing panel.
Carmen, our CEO also had a very well received presentation on Capitalizing on Foreign Markets, because everybody in the US now wants to find ways to enter new markets, and she focused on Europe.
But for those of you who haven’t been there or who want to remember the SIC 2008 atmosphere look at this short video review (watch out for the yummi chocolate fountain, our partner TrialPay offered at their reception):
Another thing I was nicely impressed with at SIC was the fact that quite a number of ASP members were winners of the Shareware Industry Awards. The same for People’s Choice Award. I am proud to be their Marketing and PR Manager :)
Apparently I am not the only one impressed about the event. There was coverage with videos, blog posts, forum discussions and tons of pictures. Here are some photo links:

How was SIC 2008 for you? See you next year, same place!
