1. Can you share the story behind the founding of VS Revo Group Ltd., including what inspired the creation of Revo Uninstaller and your other software products, as well as the company’s journey and key milestones?
VS Revo Group Ltd was founded in 2007 by a small team of software engineers and IT experts. Their mission was clear from the outset: to develop innovative software tools that would enhance computer performance, simplify maintenance tasks, and provide a better user experience.
The founding members combined their extensive expertise in software development with a deep understanding of user needs to create practical, reliable, and user-friendly solutions.
The company’s journey began with a simple yet profound realization: the frustration many users faced when trying to fully remove software from their computers. The standard uninstallation process often left behind residual files, settings, and registry entries, which could slow down the system or cause other issues.
This problem inspired two young software developers to come together and create a solution that would help the way users manage and uninstall software on their PCs.
2. What are the main challenges and opportunities that your team has encountered during VS Revo growth journey?
As many other small to mid-size companies, we have struggled to keep up with the fast development of the software industry and the customers’ demand for excellence.
Thanks to our small but very efficient team we managed to constantly improve our products according to our customers preferences.
3. What sets your solutions/products apart from the competitors? How do you differentiate yourselves in the software industry?
We have been developing and improving our main product Revo Uninstaller for the past 17 years. Our main goal is to deliver products with features that are useful to the customer, and the other main difference that we take pride in is our customer support that goes way beyond helping only with issues related to our product, but also helps our customers with problems outside of our products scope.
4. With over 17 years in the industry, how has VS Revo Group evolved in terms of technology and product offerings since its inception?
Our main focus for the past several years was really to automate as many processes in the company as possible in order to create an optimized workflow which allowed us to focus more on our future products.
5. As a company known for innovative software solutions, what upcoming trends or technologies are you excited to explore or implement in your future products?
We are definitely looking into AI as more of our competitors are tapping into its potential, we want to stay ahead of the curve and develop products that have AI implemented deeply in them.
6. How did you decide to partner with 2Checkout (now Verifone)? What operational aspects were you looking to improve?
We were looking for a company to work with that is really taking care of its customers. With our previous eCommerce provider, we had huge issues when it came to communication with them, and we constantly felt that we were left behind.
We wanted a partner that was always one step ahead of us when it came to our needs. By working with 2Checkout we felt a relieve that we can delegate a lot of responsibility when it came to cart optimization and overall website/cart localization for specific markets.
